Program Registration for BPHA Members opens March 1, 2022.
Beechwood Park Homes Association is proud to help develop the next generation of lifesavers and lifeguards. Through the Lifesaving Society Bronze Medals program candidates will have fun while being challenged to improve their lifesaving, fitness and first aid skills.
In 2022, we are excited to once again offer our Bronze programs through the blended format (online + in person).
Bronze Skills - Prep Program
Interested in becoming a lifesaver/lifeguard? Sign up for the Bronze Skills program that will be running session 4 (August 15 - August 26) from 9am - 9:45am.
The Bronze Skills program is designed for candidates who would like to better prepare themselves for Bronze Medallion, Bronze Cross and the National Lifeguard course. This course is ideal for participants 12 years or older who would benefit from learning or further practicing important lifesaving skills found throughout the Lifesaving Society’s leadership program.
Bronze Star:
- Recommended: completed of Waterloo Splash 11 or equivalent
- For an overview of the skills please see the Lifesaving Society
Bronze Medallion:
- Prerequisite: Bronze Star certification or minimum 13 years of age
- For an overview of the skills please see the Lifesaving Society
Bronze Cross:
- Prerequisite: Bronze Medallion and Emergency First Aid or Standard First Aid
- For an overview of the skills please see the Lifesaving Society
